The 7 Commandments around here:
1. You shall not type names yourself. Open a new bidding thread according to the template.
2. You shall use minimum bid of €30k and minimum increment of 10% (or 5% for bids starting from €2M) of the last bid rounded up to the nearest €10k*. (Still, please don't be a douche starting Alaphilippe at €30k.)
3. You shall not bid simultaneously on riders that would take you over the roster size or over the salary cap**.
4. You shall not comment on other people's bids when not bidding yourself, so that the 48 hours clock can be followed easily, as all threads are listed by the time of the last post.
5. You shall not edit any post in a bidding thread. If you made a mistake, just post again.
6. You shall send a PM if you need my intervention regarding rules or roster errors/delays.
7. You shall be friendly and kind towards other people, duh.
* - feel free to correct the wrongdoings of others, while being polite:
User1: "€110k"
User2: "€120k" (too low but still valid, automatically corrected to €130k)
User3: "Whatevs, mate. Your lowest bid was €130k. I'll raise you with my minimum: €150k." (remember you can't post anything unless making your own bid!)
** - I agree it's not trivial, but have to ask you to control it yourself and take full responsibility. Tips:
1. The amount of your leading bids is easily visible in the forum. Just do a ctrl+f with your name. (This is exactly why I forbid people to comment in the bidding threads. The last post must always equal the last bid.) As a rule of thumb, do slow down as soon as you hit double digits.
2. The total salary of your bids is slightly tougher to follow. But you can, for example, note down the high ones (e.g. above €100k) on a sheet of paper or in a single Excel sheet that calculates the sum for you. Personally, I use a tiny google spreadsheet to follow my own bids.
