Start date: soon?
Please post below if you want in or out. For now, assuming no changes.
One big draft (timeout - 12 hours, 24 for Tom because of his job), but you must end up with 1 rider in each region.
Since the regions don't overlap, just a full CQ name will suffice.
Relative scoring: given N participants, the most successful rider in each region gets N points, second best N-1, etc.
(For the newbies:
That means the talent pools are uneven.
Bini might be a better pick than Primoz, because the latter is maxed out at N-1 even if he scores 3000 #spoileralert
Feel free to take a look at older drafts & spreadsheets to understand fully.)
Calendar - identical to the main game.
13 non-overlapping* geographical regions: North America, South America, British Isles, Iberia, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Sprechen Sie Deutsch?, Eastern Europe, Africa; Asia; USSR, Down Under.
* - A bit of common sense leaves no doubts: Latvia is USSR, Costa Rica is North America, in Luxembourg they also speak German etc. If you're still confused, please ask.
As usual, opposite order of last year's results.
Joris won by a landslide 2024, picking Tratnik, Kelderman, then Narvaez last, in spite of Tulett and Demare! Thus:
