Roster: 25 riders with a $15m budget.
Salaries/Bidding: Minimum salary is 50k. Bidding is in 50k increments up to $1m, then 100k increments. A rider is won after 24 hours have passed since the last bid. Teams must have the requisite funds for all bids they make. Contracts are for one season and the last date for new auctions to be opened is Feb 5th for 2020 (week one bidding starts Jan 6th in 2020).
Starting auctions: Minimum opening bid in week one of auctions is $1m and for week two it's 250k. For week three each team is limited to starting 1 auction per day at the minimum salary of 50k and 5 auctions per day total (restrictions lifted for week four).
Claims: In week two each team gets 3 optional claims where they can make an opening bid or legal raise of $1.5m and win a rider instantly (1 rider per day maximum). In week three the claim amount is 500k (same restrictions).
Keepers: Riders can be retained for the next season at double their previous salary. The only additional restriction is that the minimum salary to keep a rider for a 3rd season is 500k. For example a rider won at 100k would cost 200k to keep, then 500k, then $1m etc.
Calendar: WT races beginning with UAE and ending with Lombardia plus the World Championships, Olympics and select PT races (Brabantse Pijl, Deutschland, Britain, Emilia, Milano-Torino, Piemonte, Paris-Tours). 44 races in total.
Scoring: You guys know how it works ;-)
