Summary:
Pre-set pools
Following in-depth brainstorming, the League Office provides 12 pre-set pools:
Draft
Only riders from the pre-set pool in question can be picked. The draft pick timeout is 12 hours, after which the directeur sportif may still post their pick out of order, but can't pick whoever was picked in the meantime.
Overlapping categories
If a cyclist belongs to multiple categories (Global/Rebound/Geezer/Budding/Baby), you must choose when drafting which category you want them to participate in.
Trades
Nope.
Calendar
Identical to the main game.
Scoring
All relative scores are added up in the individual ranking, i.e. your final score is the sum of the relative scores in each category. E.g. imagine there were only three categories: if you picked the best grimpeur, the best puncheur, and the least successful sprinter of all those picked in the draft, you score N+N+1.
- N participants (plus 1 dummy team of best undrafted riders?)
- 12 pre-set pools of 20+ GC riders, sprinters, time trialists etc.
- One big draft, but you must end up with 1 rider in each category
- Strictly single year deals
- Relative scoring: the most successful rider in each category (same calendar as the main game) gets N points, second best - N-1, etc.
- Starting date - December 1
- Draft pick timeout - 12 hours

- Surprise is any rider older than a Budding Star who scored 300- CQ points in the prior 2 seasons combined
- Global is any rider not from Europe, , , or
